Agreement
These Terms of Use govern your access to Rudder's website, waitlist, and application.
By using Rudder, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
Rudder provides software for personal reflection, Socratic-style conversation, leading-question reminders, mood and energy check-ins, and insights over time.
Features may change during beta and early access. We may add, modify, or remove functionality as the product matures.
Not professional advice
Rudder is not a medical, mental health, legal, financial, or therapeutic service.
Content generated by Rudder is for personal development and self-reflection. It is not a substitute for professional care.
If you are in crisis or may harm yourself or others, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not misuse Rudder, attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer the product except where permitted by law, or use Rudder for unlawful, abusive, or harmful activity.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated or the service is being misused.
Waitlist and early access
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee admission to beta or paid access.
We may invite users in phases based on product readiness, platform support, and operational capacity.
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you submit to Rudder.
You grant Rudder a limited license to host, process, and display your content solely to operate and improve the service, including generating conversational responses and reminders.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using Rudder, you also agree to that policy.
Disclaimers
Rudder is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will always be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your situation.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rudder and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
